A very informative visit to Luddenham to view the brand new airport site was held. We have been able to see the progress so far as well as see plans for the finished airport and opening schedule.
Probus Day was celebrated in October with a picnic in Fagans Park It was an opportunity to understand some of the wonderful facilities we now have within the area and to have a very stress-free and enjoyable BBQ. November saw a visit to Cockatoo Island.

The information took the members on the Lower Island Tour and defined a few of the historical past of this space which has been used since the days of Governor Phillip for a variety of activities from convict prison to Naval restore base.
The month-to-month visitor speakers have covered a variety of items of interest. A representative from Services NSW spoke in October to go through a few of the benefits out there to members in a broad range of areas. In September we had a chat on the activities of Days for Girls.
The yr will finish with a Christmas Lunch at Glenorie RSL. We look forward to one other varied and attention-grabbing yr in 2024 with plans well under way for a lot of thrilling activities.
The Club meets on the at 11.00am on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Glenorie RSL and new members are welcome.
